KONAMI’s eFootball arrived with the v4.1.0 update recently, and among the different packs that were introduced, I’m excited to dive into the Legacy of Legends Nominating Contract (NC) Pack for October 2024. It might not be a world-beater pack, but there are some hidden gems you can get and train and can be a valuable addition to your squad. So, let me give you an overview of all these players, and pick the best players in the Legacy of Legends Nominating Contract in this eFootball 2025 Pack Review.
Francisco Conceicao
- Position: RMF (Right Midfielder)
- Playstyle: Roaming Flank

Probably the best pull from this pack. Conceicao presents a solid option for any winger role, offering excellent dribbling and playmaking abilities. He’s not a finisher, mind you, so you need to make sure you have plenty of points allocated to that section if you want him to be one, but I suggest otherwise. Build him as an RMF, you can chip a couple of points off his dribbling to his passing if you want a good wide playmaker.
Marcus Thuram
- Position: CF (Center Forward)
- Playstyle: Goal Poacher

You can tell Thuram is a balanced forward. But he isn’t a master of anything, as he doesn’t have a standout stat in him. He has good finishing skills, but when you allocate him these attributes, you feel he’s missing out on a lot of things. Lack of a weak foot can be an issue. I prefer allocating some points to his finishing and kicking power as these are a must, to make him a good physical striker.
Timothy Weah
- Position: RMF (Right Midfielder)
- Playstyle: Roaming Flank

Weah is a good utility card. He can be put on the wings, as a wide midfielder or even as a striker. He is pacy, has a decent dribble to him and can kick the ball powerfully. Well, apart from that, everything seems to be a downside. He has some good finishing skills too, so you might try a hand in building him as a striker. But I’m afraid his physical contact in the current meta might not do any good.
Kasper Schmeichel
- Position: GK (Goalkeeper)
- Playstyle: Offensive Goalkeeper

Although Schmeichel has a famous name, he doesn’t match his father’s legacy in performance. He is a solid goalkeeper, sure, but he lacks the standout skills that make a keeper truly great. His reflexes and positioning are good, but he might have trouble with top-level shots. He’s a reliable choice with good goalkeeping skills in his arsenal, but not exactly a game-changer in goal.
Giovanni Simeone
- Position: CF (Center Forward)
- Playstyle: Fox in the Box

A balanced card, but again, not a standout in any metric. He got the Thuram treatment, but worse. He isn’t exactly a world-class player yet in real life, so the card is kind of the same. Surprisingly, in the regular build, he has the best finishing. Even though short, he has a decent header in him. The lack of finishing skills is surely reflected, and I’m sure you won’t waste your skill tokens on this card.
Daniel Maldini
- Position: AMF (Attacking Midfielder)
- Playstyle: Creative Playmaker

Surprisingly, this card is quite good. He has 80+ stats in dribbling, passing, and speed, which is quite interesting. For a creative playmaker, he can be a very good option at the centre of the field or as a wide midfielder. Of course, I’m sure you have better options, but this guy can be a good substitute option in AI or themed matches.
Now, if we compare this pack with the previous ones, I don’t see a very standout player among these. If you have plenty of Nominating Contracts, you can definitely pick depending on your preference. If not, I suggest skipping this.
In cases where your Nominating Contract expires before the next one arrives and you need to pick a player, my suggestion is to go for either Francisco Conceicao or Marcus Thuram. Daniel Maldini can be a good-themed event card too. The other cards aren’t that impressive, as you have base card picks that can match or better them.
